This blanket from Burel Mountain was made on an ancestral loom, in an old restored factory in Serra Da Estrela, with wool from the sheep grassing in the mountains right outside the door.
 
 It has an old fashioned thick feel to it. It is a no nonsen wool blanket, originally produced to keep the Portuguese shepherds warm.
 
Wool is a natural material and super-durable therefor an eco-friendly option.
